A product of Port Huron schools, Grant left the area for a higher education and to pursue his passion for business. He returned to the Blue Water Area after graduation and joined the BWYP in the spring of 2017.
Grant looks forward to generating opportunities for the next generation and being a liaison for younger individuals to find their place within the community. He currently serves on multiple committees, including Kegs N Ks and Chilly Fest Bed Races as well as help with communications.
“I like that being a member of the YPs allows me to network with other individuals within the community that I wouldn't normally have the opportunity to,” he said. “I also enjoy being involved with younger like-minded individuals within the community that share a passion for making our area the best it can be.”
He earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Western Michigan University, where he majored in sales and business marketing.
Grant utilizes what he learned during his time spent in Kalamazoo in his role as an Account Manager for Continue Marketing. He is also part of the team that manages the Eleven19 family of other businesses started by Matt Brooks, including The Roost, a coworking space in Downtown, Port Huron.
